Ecopack Limited, (EPL) was incorporated as a private limited company in August 1991 to mainly manufacture PET preforms & bottles for the Pakistani carbonated beverage and mineral water markets. The first factory is located in Northern Pakistan at Hattar Industrial Estate, NWFP province, to benefit both from various tax incentives and the strategic proximity to the densely populated province of Punjab & to the emerging Central Asian markets. The main project investment was for the manufacture of PET preforms and bottles targeting the growing carbonated soft drink (CSD) industry in Pakistan.
